In order to protect the environment and counteract global warming, we have taken some measures to be as climate-friendly as possible.
Climate neutral shipping
With our partners Shopify Planet and DHL , we completely offset all emissions caused by shipping. In this way we can offer climate-neutral shipping and do something good for our environment.
Shopify Planet
In cooperation with Shopify Planet we ship every order carbon neutral. With the Millennium Plan, we pay a certain amount per order to offset the carbon footprint of shipping. The money goes to projects that remove carbon from the atmosphere and store it for at least 1,000 years. In addition, part of the amount will be invested in sustainable solutions such as ocean-based mining and direct air capture (air filtration).
DHL GoGreen
We ship every order to Germany and Austria with DHL GoGreen . With DHL GoGreen , climate protection and sustainability are very important. By offsetting transport-related CO2 emissions by investing in certified climate protection projects, climate-neutral shipping can be guaranteed.
Sustainable packaging
In order to pack the orders as environmentally friendly as possible, we have taken a number of measures.
Thanks to the Aachen startup re packet , we have managed to regularly receive used packaging that we can send again. This allows us to reuse used boxes and eliminates the need to make new boxes. Therefore, please do not be surprised if you receive a box that no longer looks new. Of course, the correct product packaging is not affected. If you do not wish to receive your order in a reused box, please feel free to contact us using our contact form prior to placing your order.
However, not only do we try to ensure that much of our packaging is sustainable, we also attach great importance to eco-friendly filling material . Approximately 90% of the filling material we use is sustainable. To achieve this, we use compostable organic air cushion chains and cardboard air cushion chains.
